Frequently asked questions
Everything institutions ask before working with us — company, products, pricing, security and implementation. Can't find your answer? Ask us directly.
ACompany & services
What kind of company is NUSAIFA IT, and how is it related to Medicare Group?
NUSAIFA IT is a technology company specialising in Education Technology, TVET digital solutions, enterprise software and digital transformation. It is a concern of Medicare Group, whose education institutions are among the systems we build for and operate in production.
Which sectors do you work in?
Education, TVET, government projects, NGOs and development partners, healthcare, and corporate organisations — see the full list on our Industries page.
Do you have experience with government projects and NGOs?
Yes. Our flagship Training Management System runs in production for a donor-funded skills programme, so procurement processes, compliance workflows and M&E reporting are familiar ground for us.
Do your systems support Bangla?
Yes — interfaces run in Bangla and English, and reports can print in either. Bangla typography uses the Hind Siliguri typeface for clean rendering.
Where are you located and how do we reach you?
Details, map and a contact form are on the Contact page — or book a call directly via Request a Demo.
BProducts & customisation
Should we take a ready product or commission custom development?
If a product like our TMS covers 80% of your needs, configuration plus small adaptations is faster and cheaper. Fully custom development makes sense for genuinely unique workflows — we will tell you honestly which side you fall on.
Can modules be customised to our institution's rules?
Yes. Trades, sessions, approval chains, report formats and user roles are all configurable; deeper workflow changes are scoped as customisation work.
Can you migrate our old data from Excel or other software?
Yes — data migration is a standard add-on. We import, clean and verify your records, and you sign off on the migrated data before go-live.
Is a mobile app included?
All systems are fully responsive, so they work in any phone browser with nothing to install. Native apps can be scoped as an Enterprise extension where offline use is essential.
Can multiple campuses or branches run on one system?
Yes, on Enterprise plans — each campus operates independently while head office sees consolidated dashboards and reports.
CPricing & contracts
Is pricing one-time or an annual subscription?
Standard packages are annual subscriptions that include hosting, updates and support. One-time licensing with a separate AMC is available for organisations whose procurement requires it — see packages.
Are there hidden costs — hosting, SMS, updates?
No. Hosting, security updates and support are inside the package price. Only genuinely optional items — SMS bundles, biometric devices, extra training — are priced separately, and always quoted in writing first.
What does the AMC include?
Annual Maintenance Contracts cover monitoring, backups, security patching, priority fixes and a defined support SLA. Scope is written into the contract so there is never ambiguity.
Is instalment or project-based payment possible?
Yes. Milestone-based payment is standard for project engagements, and instalment schedules can be arranged for institutional subscriptions.
Who owns the data when a contract ends?
You do — always. At contract end we hand over a complete export in standard formats (CSV/SQL) and confirm deletion from our infrastructure on request.
DSecurity & data
Where is our data hosted and how secure is it?
Data lives in managed cloud infrastructure with SSL encryption in transit, Row-Level Security in the database, and access controlled entirely through secured server functions — no direct table access exists.
What about backups and disaster recovery?
Automated daily backups with retention, plus periodic restore drills. Enterprise plans can add custom recovery-time objectives.
Can we control who sees which data (RBAC)?
Yes. Role-based access control is fundamental to every system: a trainer sees only their batches, an accounts officer only finance, and so on — mapped to your actual org chart.
Do you keep an audit log?
Every significant action — who created, changed or deleted what, and when — is logged and reviewable. This is standard in all plans, not an extra.
What is the support response time if something goes down?
Starter: email within one working day. Professional: priority queue with WhatsApp. Enterprise: dedicated manager under a written SLA with defined response times.
EImplementation & training
How long until the system is live?
Standard configurations typically go live in 2–4 weeks including data migration and training. Enterprise scopes with integrations are scheduled in the project plan we agree together.
How is staff training delivered?
Role-based sessions — admins, trainers, office staff — on your real data before launch. Online for Starter/Professional; on-site included in Enterprise. Bangla or English, your choice.
How do we get support after launch?
Through the channel in your plan: email, priority WhatsApp, or a dedicated account manager. Every request is tracked to resolution.
Can it be used without internet (offline)?
The systems are web-based and need connectivity, though they stay usable on slow connections. For genuinely offline field scenarios, talk to us — offline-capable extensions can be scoped for Enterprise.
How do we see a demo?
Use Request a Demo — pick a date, and within 24 hours we confirm a guided walkthrough on live sample data.
